So you're ready to upgrade your suitcase. We’ve got you covered.
Our team is constantly testing and reviewing the best luggage out there, and one of our favorite brands is the trendy Monos line of sleek, stylish bags.
The Canada-designed line spans multiple types of carry-on suitcases, check-in luggage, trunks, backpacks, duffels, and more. While Monos pieces often come with higher price tags than other competitors in the space, they deliver on quality with features like ergonomically-friendly aluminum handles, light polycarbonate shells, vegan leather details, and "whisper-quiet 360º spinner wheels," as the team writes on the website.
Consider this your one-stop shop for our honest feedback, comparative analysis, and tried-and-true recommendations. These are some of our favorite Monos luggage pieces.
Monos Carry-On Pro – $311
It’s what is on the inside of the Monos Carry-On Pro that counts. While this 2.0 version of the original Monos carry-on — it features the addition of a front pocket — is more expensive and has less packing space compared to competitors like Away and July, the 20-inch interior's organizational compartments make all the difference.
Pros: Plenty of interior pockets for packing efficiency; super smooth wheels; and padded front pocket for laptop security
Cons: Scuffed after several trips; on the smaller side; the price

Monos Check-In Medium – $361
The Check-In Medium is the smaller roller of the two sizes in Mono's checked luggage line. But even overpackers will be content with its 24-inch interior thanks to carefully organized compartments and zippered interior pouches that help make packing more efficient. The Monos team recommends the Check-In Medium for one- to three-week trips; we feel it shines in the two-week sweet spot.
Pros: Plenty of interior pockets; doesn’t feel heavy while in transit
Cons: Scuffed after several trips; price

Monos Metro Backpack – $200
It may be pricey, but the Metro Backpack is worth your investment. It comes with what the Monos team calls a “QuickSnap Modular Kit System,” which really just means the front pocket can be detached as a separate pouch.
Pros: Two sleeves for laptops; removable kit; waterproof interior pocket for water bottles; slides right onto your rolling luggage handle
Cons: Price
