10 Things That’ll Almost Definitely Sell Out: From Grateful Dead to Ganni - New York Magazine

For this week’s Don’t Dillydally, we’ve surfaced a range of limited-edition collaborations that are sure to sell out, including a roomy tote from Kule and Air Mail, upcycled collars from Ganni and Depop, and Grateful Dead merch created in partnership with Levi’s.

Zara x Everlast

Zara and Everlast have teamed up again, this time on a pint-size collection for kids (or perhaps small-framed adults). The collection is as sporty as one might expect, featuring plush joggers, sleeveless hoodies, and T-shirts like this one, which features the Everlast logo on both the front and back.

Justice at Walmart

Also on the kids front, Walmart now carries mall staple Justice in stores. Offerings include tie-dyed comforters, sweat sets, and graphic tees, along with back-to-school accessories like notebooks, backpacks, and headphones. We like this preppy-looking shirt from the brand’s ’90s collection, which features Justice in a blocky varsity font and comes in two colors: black and an eye-catching red.

Kule x Air Mail

Kule, makers of flattering striped shirts that former Strategist writer Hilary Reid once called “a cooler alternative to the slightly stale ‘French girl’ aesthetic,” recently released a limited-edition tote with weekly publication Air Mail. The bag, which is an ideal size for weekend trips to the beach or farmers’ market, was designed by Donald Robertson and depicts a group of animals in flight suits. Ten percent of sales contribute to the Elephant Family, a nonprofit organization that helps to protect Asia’s wildlife.

Victoria’s Secret On Point Collection

In its first collection since an announced rebrand back in June, Victoria’s Secret is leaning into activewear. The collection, called “On Point,” is designed for three levels of activity: live (for lounging), flow (for low-impact workouts and Pilates), and sweat (for more intense workouts like HIIT and spin). Each category also has its own athlete ambassador: skier Eileen Gu is the face of sweat; New York City Ballet corps de ballet member India Bradley represents live; and Emily Chen, a yoga instructor, is the face of flow. The collection includes sports bras in a bevy of bright shades and patterns, monochrome sweat sets with lace-up details, and leggings for just about any activity you can think of.

Dos Swim x Paloma Elesseser

Model Paloma Elsesser has teamed up with New York–based indie swimwear brand Dos Swim on a collection called “Heat Wave.” It has all the trappings of a cool collab: The founders and the collaborator are friends; the prints and cuts are trendy (plaid! Graphic squiggles! Three-piece sets!); and it’s size-inclusive, going up to a 3XL. This string bikini from the collaboration is fun, featuring outdoorsy-feeling rope-style ties and a bright, ’80s-looking pattern.

Haerfest Support Collection

Haerfest, which makes some of our favorite work backpacks, is deepening its commitment to fighting racial justice through its SUPPORT collection, which raises funds for NYC Salt, a nonprofit that creates opportunities for underserved kids in New York. Its first offering is a padded camera strap created in partnership with photographer Cedric Terrell, which fits on any DSLR. The straps come in a range of bright colors, including this cheery yellow, fittingly named “dandelion.”

Levi’s x Grateful Dead

Levi’s has brought its denim expertise to Grateful Dead merch in a capsule collection currently available on its site. Lots of things are already selling out, but this T-shirt still has some sizes in stock. This one’s graphic is inspired by the concert flyer from the band’s iconic 1977 Barton Hall concert at Cornell University, and has a subtle green starburst tie-dye.

Misen Dutch Oven

The Dutch-oven wars continue. The latest entry into the field is this enamel pot from Misen, which promises premium cookware for an affordable price. This one has four layers of enamel sprayed on a cast-iron core, which apparently ensures a more durable finish and guarantees it’ll hold up over time. It also has a larger base than most other brands for additional cook space and ultrawide handles so it can be gripped easily, thick oven mitts notwithstanding. It’s currently available in five colors (a few of which are already sold out), including this soothing shade of blue.

Depop x Ganni

Depop and Ganni have partnered with six female designers to riff on its signature oversize Peter Pan collar — using archived fabrics to rework them into something new. This one from Sio Studio was made using some OG Ganni fabric and Levi’s denim and features the word Ganni outlined in neon-green thread. Quantities for these are extremely limited (there are only nine of this collar in particular), so if you see one you like, don’t dillydally. Additionally, proceeds from sales are going directly to the designer’s charity of choice. In Sio’s case, purchases support The Reachout Project, an organization that supports inner-city youth.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
