Although there have been a few storms the past couple of weeks, summer is right around the corner and with it will come plenty of sunny hot days.
Here is a list of pools and splash pads in the surrounding area that offer day passes, visitor passes, and memberships to help you keep cool this summer.
This list is limited to options in Washington County. However, there are a couple of aquatic parks around the region worth mentioning, such as Wet Willy’s Water Park (also known as the Rogers Aquatic Center) in Rogers and the Parrot Island Water Park in Fort Smith.
Of course, there are plenty of lakes and rivers to cool off in as well, but we’ll save those for another list.

Wilson Park
Located in Fayetteville’s most popular parks, the Wilson Park Pool is accompanied by multiple shade trees, flowers, and friendly faces. The pool supplies its guests with a fun atmosphere for your swimming experience.
The Parks and Recreation Department operates Fayetteville’s only municipal pool. Concessions are available.

Admission Prices
Daily Youth – $3
Daily Adult – $4
Family Swim – $8 per/family (only available during family swim designated times)
Punch Pass (10 Visits) – $35
Season Adult – $75
Season Family – $135 for a family of 5. $10.00 fee per additional family member added.
Youth rates apply to those fifteen years of age or younger. Children under the age of seven must be accompanied by a person sixteen years of age or older. Children under the age of one are free.
Wilson Park Pool Hours for the open swim are Monday through Friday from 1 p.m to 4:30 p.m and family swim from 6 p.m. to 8.p.m. Saturday through Sunday hours are 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Mount Sequoyah
The Mount Sequoyah pool offers day passes and memberships. $ 5-day passes are only available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. All the other days are only open to members. The Mount Sequoyah pool is located at 150 N Skyline Dr, Fayetteville, Ar 72701
Admission Prices
Family Membership: $120/month OR $360 for the season (May – September)
Couple Membership: $90/month OR $270 for the season (May – September)
Individual Membership: $60/month OR $180 for the season (May – September)

Member swim opened on Saturday, May 1, and will continue as long as the weather allows.
Elks Lodge
The Elks Lodge pool is only open to members. To open a membership, a fee of $75 will be asked to fill out an application. Once the application is complete, the membership is $198 for a couple or $193 for an individual. A member may bring one guest willing to pay a $3 fee.
The pool opens on Memorial Day weekend and remains open until Labor Day.
The swimming pool hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
HPER Building at the University of Arkansas
The HPER offers its pool to University of Arkansas students as well as members of the HPER. Student memberships are included in tuition, and family memberships for students are available for $25 per semester.
Community memberships are also available, starting at $125 a semester or $375 a year.
Swimming Pool Hours are Monday through Friday 11 a.m. from 2 p.m. then 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Saturday, the hours are 11 a.m. to 2 .m. They are closed on Sunday.
The Jones Center
The Jones Center’s indoor pool area boasts a leisure pool with a wrap-around slide and a Junior-Olympic size lap pool. It is used by the public and organizations alike.

Summerhill Racquet & Athletic Club
Summerhill Racquet & Athletic Club offers all-day swimming to its members. Membership prices range from $58.25 to $90.00. To see membership prices, please visit www.summerhillrac.com/membership-rates/
The hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Prairie Grove Aquatic Park
The Prairie Grove Aquatic Park is offering day passes. It is located at 311 W. Butler St.
Admission Prices
$5 a person for ages six and above
$4 a person for ages five and under
After 5 p.m., adults get in for $2, and seniors and children get in for $1.
Season passes are $200 per family of 4 and $35.00 per additional immediate family member. Members are allowed 1 purchase of a ‘guest pass’ with each family pass. Guest passes are $75 per individual. For information, please visit www.prairiegrovearkansas.org/attractions/aquatic-park/

Springdale Aquatic Center
The Springdale Aquatic Center is open for the season. It is located at 1100 Watson Avenue Springdale, AR 72764.
Admission Prices and other fees
Ages 0-4 $3
Ages 5 and Older $4
Lockers are available for $.25 per use.
Swim diapers are available for $2 each.
Splash Passes are also available for $80/pass that allow 25 visits with pass.
The Springdale Aquatic Park hours are Monday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Walker Park Splash Pad
The Walker Park Splash Pad is open for the summer. Walker Park is located at 10 W. 15th St, Fayetteville, AR 72701.
The splash pad hours are from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from May through the third Sunday in September. It is free to enjoy.

C.L. “Charlie” and Willie George Park
C.L. “Charlie” and Willie George Park has a splash pad open daily during the summer months. It is located at 4023 Hylton Rd, Springdale, AR 72764.
The splash pad hours are from 9 a.m. to dark.
