Let’s get creative with some ideas for the Ravens and trades:
The Orlando Brown Jr. trade rumors will not stop. Are there any possible and realistic Ravens trades this offseason?
Some of the rumors are just downright crazy. Others have been put to rest, like the rumored trade between the Jaguars for D.J. Chark.
I am sure many Ravens fans would have been happy to bring D.J. Chark here and a draft pick or two, especially if the Ravens had to lose a vital piece of their offensive line. I know I would be happy with D.J. Chark, though.
That’s the thing if the Ravens are going to lose a vital piece of their offensive line by trading Orlando Brown Jr., shouldn’t they fill another void too?
Yes, with the right draft picks, you can essentially do just that. But draft picks don’t always pan out. The Ravens also aren’t the best at drafting wide receivers. Maybe the best course of action is to try and pry a proven starting number two receiver (or potential number one wide receiver) away from a team plus draft picks for Orlando Brown Jr. Or maybe the trade involves a pass-rusher instead of a wide receiver.
Who are the options?
Well, I have narrowed it down to a few teams that seem realistic and like good deals for both parties. Keep in mind, we have no idea who the interested parties are because team names have not been released.
Also, the Ravens may not trade Orlando Brown Jr. They may even do entirely different trades. However, if I am going to speculate on Ravens trades at this point, it feels almost necessary to include their highest-value bargaining chip right now in Orlando Brown Jr.
The Ravens have brought good players in on good deals, like Calais Campbell, Marcus Peters, and Yannick Ngakoue. Eric DeCosta is not afraid to make a good trade.
